Born in Kansas City, MO, Teri spent her childhood in a small farm town playing with art.
In 1981, she launched herself into the restaurant business and her creative outlet became the kitchen. For the next 40 years she was immersed in the restaurant industry and farm-to-table movement, working in Seattle, the bay area and St. Thomas. Her passion for creating inspired meals, and welcoming spaces led her to open Potager restaurant in Denver, CO.
Years later, after the death of her dear friend, Teri began painting again.
Teri met Adam
in 2017 and they were married a year later. She sold her beloved Potager Restaurant,
they packed up and moved to Deer Isle, off the coast of Maine. Her work is inspired by nature and an artistic community.
It is an abstract expression of how she sees and how she feels.
These days, she spends her time on the island painting, baking for the local coffee shops, gardening,
teaching yoga, sharing a life with Adam and selling flowers at her Little Village Flower Shop.
